Cattle: treatment of animals suffering from pneumonia, gastroenteritis, arthritis, pododermatitis, chlamydia, brucellosis, leptospirosis, pasteurellosis, actinobacillosis, mastitis, calf diphtheria, as well as treatment for skin and soft tissue diseases (wounds, abscesses, postoperative and postpartum infections) caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.
Pigs: treatment of animals suffering from pneumonia, gastroenteritis, pasteurellosis, dysentery, mastitis, MMA syndrome, as well as skin and soft tissue diseases (wounds, abscesses, postoperative and postpartum infections) caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.
Sheep, goats: treatment of animals suffering from chlamydia, pneumonia, gastroenteritis, mastitis, piroplasmosis (babesiosis) caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.
Intramuscularly in a dose of 1 ml of the drug per 10 kg of body weight once (20 mg of active substance per 1 kg of body weight). For piglets weighing up to 10 kg – 1 ml of the drug per animal. For newborn lambs, the drug is used in a dose of 2 ml per animal.
The drug is administered to calves by subcutaneous injections.
The maximum injection dose at one injection site is 20 ml – for cattle, 10 ml – for pigs, 5 ml – for sheep and goats.
Hypersensitivity to oxytetracycline. Do not use in case of impaired liver and kidney function. Do not use for the treatment of horses, dogs and cats.
Do not use the drug simultaneously with antibiotics of the penicillin and cephalosporin series due to a decrease in the antibacterial effect. Do not mix with other medicines.
Allergic reactions at the injection site are possible in animals, which disappear within 2 weeks after stopping the use of the drug.
In the event of an anaphylactic reaction, it is necessary to administer corticosteroids or an antihistamine to animals.
Slaughter of animals for meat and consumption of milk for human food are allowed, respectively, 28 and 7 days after the last use of the drug. The meat and milk obtained by the specified deadline are disposed of or fed to non-productive animals, depending on the opinion of the veterinary medicine doctor.
Vials made of dark glass, closed with a rubber stopper under an aluminum break-in, each 100 ml.
A dry, dark place inaccessible to children at a temperature of 15° to 25°C.
2 years. After the first selection from the bottle, the drug must be used within 28 days, provided it is stored in a dark place at a temperature of 2° to 8°C.
