Metaphosol

Composition per ml:

Toldimfos sodium, 3H20                     200 mg

Indication:

Treatment and proph­ylaxis of general metabolic disorders, weakness and prostration after dise-ase, heavy duty in birth, debility of newborn, mal-development and stunting in young animals and general nutritional disturbance. It is recommended for treatment and prophylaxis of tetanus and paresis due to disturbances of the Ca/Mg/P Metabolism (concomitantly with Ca/Mg infusions). Disorders in bone development (additionally with vit. D) and for support of sterility therapy. Metaphosol is increasing food intake and muscle performance.

Route of administration and dosage: 

By intravenous, intramuscular or subcutaneous injection

Horse, cattle:  15 – 25 ml per animal

Calf, foal: 5 – 15 ml per animal

Goat, Sheep: 5 – 15 ml  per animal

Pig: 5 – 15 ml per animal

Dog, cat:  0.5 – 5 ml per animal

 

Warning: Divide high intramuscular dosage between two injection sites.

Storage:

Store in a dry place between 15 °C and 25 °C. Protected from light.
Keep medicine away from children.
