Penstrepvet 20/20

Composition: 

100ml suspension contains:

Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate 200mg/ml

Penicillin G Procaine 200,000 u.i/ml

Indication:

Penstrepvet is used for treatment of infections caused by germs susceptible to penicillin or dihydrostreptomycin :respiratory,uterines and alimentary tract infections,metritis,mastitis,osteomyelitis,peritonitis,septicemia,cystitis and secondary bacteriemia infections in horses,cattle,pigs, sheep and goats

Contraindication:

•         Do not administer to animals hypersensitive to penicillins,aminoglycosides or procaines
•         Not to be used on animals with impaired renal function
•         Not for prolong use in pregnant animals because of risk to the toxicity of the foetus

Side Effects:

•         Hypersensitivity,
•         Renal/vestibular/auditory dysfunction following prolong use of high doses

Route of administration and dosage: 

For intramuscular injection.

General dose: 1 ml per 25 kg bodyweight daily, for 3 – 5 days.

In severe cases, this dose may be doubled.

Shake well before use.

Withdrawal Period

Meat: 9 days

Milk: 4 days

Storage: Store in a cool dry place, away from sunlight.

Keep out of reach of children.

Package: 100 ml bottle packed in individual pack.
