Lecirelin

Composition: Lecirelin    0.025 mg

Pharmaceutical form: Solution for injection. A clear, colourless solution.

Indication:

• Cows: Making the date of ovulation more precise, oestrus synchronisation, improving the conception rate after insemination, treatment of acyclicity. Treatment of ovarian cysts.
• Female rabbits: Induction of ovulation and improvement of conception rate.

Dosage and application

Intramuscular administration.

• Cows: 

1. For making the date of ovulation more precise, oestrus synchronisation, improving the conception rate after insemination, treatment of acyclicity: 50 µg of lecirelin per animal corresponding to 2 ml of the product per animal.
2. For treatment of ovarian cysts: 100 µg of lecirelin per animal corresponding to 4 ml of the product per animal.

• Female rabbits:

1. Induction of ovulation and improvement of conception rate: 0.75 µg of lecirelin per animal corresponding to 0.03 ml of the product per animal.

To be administered immediately after artificial insemination.

Storage: Protect from light. Protect from frost.

Withdrawal period:

• Cows

1. Meat: Zero days.
2. Milk: Zero days.

• Female rabbits

1. Meat: Zero days.

Shelf life:

Shelf life of the veterinary medicinal product as packaged for sale: 2 years.

The 2ml ampoule product is intended for immediate consumption after first opening of the ampoule.
